On behalf of the President: Minister Malki delivers the family of Ambassador Abdelkarim Al-Khatib the Medal of achievement – President Mahmoud Abbas Medal

Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates Dr. Riad Malki,  delivered the Medal of Achievement-the medal of President Mahmoud Abbas, on behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas, to the family of the deceased Ambassador Abdul Karim al-Khatib of Palestine in Istanbul, on the sidelines of the Conference of Ambassadors of the State of Palestine to the European continent, which opened this morning in Istanbul City

The handover ceremony was attended by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mr. Mouloud Chaouoush Ogglen, the director of the Palestinian National Fund, Mr. Ramzi Khoury, and the Ambassador of Palestine to the Turkish Republic and the Ambassadors of Palestine to the European continent.

While receiving the medal, the family of Al-Khatib expressed appreciation for the medal presented by President Mahmoud Abbas, wishing that the Palestinians would soon celebrate the realization of the dream of their independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital.

In recognition of his bid, his pioneering role, his outstanding national commitment and his honorable struggle to defend his homeland, the deceased was given a fair and just cause.
